Keren Kayemet L'Israel Fundraising Poster
Poster depicts a sheaf of wheat, with the words "Keren Kajemet
LeIsrael" in Polish, and "Keren Kayemet L'Yisrael"
in Hebrew. The Keren Kayemet L'Israel was formed in the beginning
of the 19th century to raise money from world Jewry to purchase
and redeem land in Israel (then called Palestine). They also dealt
with starting settlements in barren tracts of lands in Palestine.
This fundraising ad was printed in Warsaw, Poland, in the early
20th century. Can be framed easily, and is a must for any Judaica
collection, especially one dealing with the founding of the state
of Israel, and the efforts that went into founding it.
Poster measures 19-2/3" x 27-1/2" (50 cm x 70 cm.). Please email
me at moshe@judaicaposters.com
with any questions.
This poster (as all of my posters) is shipped rolled in a tube.
To pay by check, just send me an email: moshe@judaicaposters.com

information.
