"The Rabbi"

Poster depicts a Rabbi, adorned by his majestic Shtreimel
(fur hat), and wearing his Tallit (prayer shawl), studying
a volume of the Talmud. The picture is most lifelike, and captures
the regal part of the poor Jews that lived in Russia and Poland.
Although they were quite poor and had few luxuries, Kaufmann always
portrays them in their Shabbat finery, thus giving a more positive
image of his bretheren.
Can be framed easily, and is a must for any Jewish home or Judaica
collection.
