Caricature of the Kotel - Western Wall
Poster depicts a humourous caricature of the goings-on at the
Kotel at any given time. Some of the scenes featured in the poster:
- Hasidim praying at the wall
- Men dancing
- A Wall-nut dressed as King David playing a harp
- Numerous tourists busily photgraphing and videoing the happenings
- An usher explaining to a tall tourist (who doesn't seem to
understand) the need to put a Kipah (skullcap) on his head.
Featured in the backdrop is the golden Dome of the Rock, and
the words "The Western Wall and "HaKotel" (in Hebrew)
are written above .
