Soldier with the Four Species in Battle
Poster depicts an Israeli soldier wrapped in a Tallit
(prayer shawl), holding the four species - Etrog (Citron),
Lulav (palm branch), Hadasim (myrtle branches),
and Aravot (willow twigs). He is praying with intense concentration
in front of a half-track, while another soldier (seen in background)
checkes the treads of the vehicle. His gun is propped beside him
on barrels of ammunition. Presumably, this photo was taken on
Chol Hamoed Sukkot during the Yom Kippur war. Can be framed easily,
and is a must for any Jewish home or Judaica collection.
